If you, like me, have had it with made-up Twitter words — Tweeple?? Tweetup? — here’s the perfect T-shirt for you. Go ahead, say “tweet” again! Samuel L. Jackson dares you.

@BreakingNews sent out the above tweet to its 1.6 million followers on Wednesday morning. That tweet was soon deleted. But their explanation for ‘Blah’ is still on the site

Morning Mellow. You should follow it.
I’ve spruced up the Web site and re-activated the Twitter feed. So if you like a nice quiet tune to ease you into the work day (and who doesn’t), subscribe to the RSS feed or follow it on Twitter @morningmellow

One Year on Twitter
June 10 marks my one-year anniversary on Twitter.
It’s interesting that a medium which I barely understood when I first started has become so addictive, and more importantly, indispensible to my job.
To remember the occasion, I have decided to analyze how I’ve tweeted in the last year on my personal account.
My first tweet:

Since then, I’ve tweeted an average of 5 times day — with Tuesdays at 3 p.m. being my most active time. All of this according to my tweetstats
And, as the word cloud shows, I tweet a lot about Twitter. And also about sleep and Oof!
