Animals Are Better Than You
A polar bear can eat a seal. Can you eat a seal? hence the polar bear is better than you.
“Hiding under lily pads and blending into their environment these species of the animal kingdom are masters of disguise. With the ability to fade, blend and merge these animals use the art of concealment as a means of survival in the natural world. Animals use two basic methods to conceal themselves in nature: general resemblance and special resemblance.” w/ photos

If nothing else, it most certainly will be a strong contender for the oddest book title this year.
“The Testicle Cookbook: Cooking With Balls” is a Serbian chef’s attempt to share with the world 20 years spent preparing, what he calls, teste-y dishes.
The multi-media book, available for download Thursday, includes 31 recipes from more than a dozen animals: from ostriches to bulls to stallions.
The recipes include Testicle Goulash, Omelet with Calf Testicles and Bull Testicles With Bechamel Sauce
The book comes with video guides that show the chef, Ljubomir Erovic, peeling and slicing testicles, and some dishes include handy footnotes.
The recipe for “Pig Testicles,” for example, offers this suggestion: “During and after the meal, home-made dry white wine is recommended with a good song and music.”
Erovic, who runs a company that maintains medical equipment, said he grew up hearing about the medicinal properties of testicles.
The animal parts are a delicacy in his country, he said, and are thought to be aphrodisiacs in certain cultures because of the testosterone.
“Ever since I was a little boy I listen to the elder talk about testicles, being well prepared, stimulate sexual activities,” he said. “It seemed funny and stupid to me until ( I tasted it). I could not sleep that night because I became incredibly aroused and felt a real charge of positive energy.”
In 2004, he organized the ‘World Ball Cup’ in his hometown of Gornji Milanovac, which has since evolved into an annual event with chefs from Australia, Norway, Slovenia and other countries competing.
The 2005 championship entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the ‘largest testicle-cooking championship’ after 12 teams cooked 44 lbs. (20 kg) of bull, boar, camel, ostrich and kangaroo testicles.
Erovic’s favorite? Stallion testicles.
Considering the popularity of the animal part, Erovic is surprised no one had thought of the book concept. Now, he sees his work as a gift to couples around the world.
“The way to better life through food and not drugs is the idea that keeps running in my mind,” he said.
